Lara-Jean Hallam started studying Performing Arts at the tender age of 3.
She studied locally in Southampton and entered festivals and competitions in
drama, dance and singing.
Lara–Jean is qualified to BA Honors in Dance Studies and English Literature. She completed her Musical Theatre training at Italia Conti Arts Centre, overcoming stiff competion to gain a scholarship. While at Italia Conti, Lara -Jean completed her Advanced 2 Tap and Modern and Advanced 1 Ballet, and gained her ISTD Teaching Certificate in Tap, Ballet and Modern Dance . She participated in a professional Cheerleading Squad and gained her UKCA Cheerleading, Stunts and Tumbling Level 2/3 Award, NCSSE Cheerleading 1-4, Future Cheer Level 1-4, IDTA Dance Teaching Associates, New Era Drama Teaching Qualifications, Exercise to Music Level 2, and is a Registered British Gymnastics Coach.
Lara-Jean's performance experience has taken her around the world. Her acheivements include : Entertainment Host, Presenter and Performer onboard Carnival Cruiselines ; Entertainment Manager, Singer/ Dancer for TMC services; Dancer at The Brits; Professional Cheerleader; BodyRox Productions, Video Backing Dancer; Thomas Cook Oversees Entertainer; Pantomime Performer; Aimici Dance Member, Theatre Dancer in London; Impact Dance Festival , Dancer at the All England Finals and performed the lead role in 'Hairspray The Musical'.
Lara- Jean is a qualified versatile teacher, with a valid CRB and insurance. She has extensive teaching experience around Hampshire, teaching all ages. Her specialist subjects are Cheerleading, Jazz, Core Strengthening, Modern Tap, Ballet and Musical Theatre.
Alaina Blight is one of our Cheer-a-cality coaches.
She is a qualified NCSSE and BCA cheer coach, and has competed Nationally in the sport. She is trained in Musical Theatre and has worked professional as a Charactor and Parade Peformer for Disney, Lazy Town Live, and In the Night Garden to name a few. She still performs today in a professional company entertaining holiday makers at a variety of holiday camps in the south coast.
Claire studied dance locally, competing in dance festivals until she went to Chichester Institute and studied BA Dance and English. She performed at The Queen Elizabeth Hall in London and The Minerva Theatre in Chichester. Since then Claire became interested in cheerleading and is qualified with UKCA as a Level 2 and Level 3 cheer coach, and worked for Meon Valley Country Club and as part of Locks Heath Gymnastics Club.
Rachel graduated from Arts Educational Schools London, where she completed a a degree in Musical Theatre and Performing Arts.She has performed on Top of the Pops and danced for Elton John and boy band Blue at a concert at Bleinham Palace London. Rachel is trained in ISTD modern, Ballet and Tap and her street and jazz style is well enjoyed by our students.
